Xenomorph AVP story

McCahons Creek, a small isolated area just outside of Melbourne, Australia, very little man made interference has ever accrued due to its thick dense forest, along the mountain side.

The area is best known for its small friendly communities spread out all around the creek, but not a tourist attraction many would consider a bargain, eighty precent of McCahons Creek was turned into a nature Reserve in 1963, very little future seemed to be a reality for the Creek.

But all that changed in 1979, when the community reported a large projectile crashing somewhere in the dense forest, rumours began to spread about what the strange fireball might have been, a Warhead that luckily didn't go off, a plane that lost control and crashed, even rumours of a space ship came up more than once.

It took three days for a search party to arrive at the scene, all they found at the sight was a large creator, not a single piece of evidence to what might have caused this large hole, stories of all sort began to arise around Australia, too what might have happened, many believing it could have been a government cover up, or a missile sent to destroy western countries by the Soviet Union, with all these rumours, created great tension between the West and East countries during the Cold War.

After a few months, things began to die down a lot, but for the next three years reports of more than four hundred residents from all communities and towns in a seventy mile radius had disappeared; the government became concerned suspecting a new type of Virus had been discovered.

This wasn't the case however, reports of strange black creatures had been spreading all over the country, causing many to believe the area to be the Zone of some form of evolution, all residents that did come forth described the creatures they saw to be, tall black figures, large banana shaped head, tail, and many other strange and unusual features, many first believed that it was a hoax, like Big foot, or the Lock Nest Monster, but with more and more people vanishing, the Rumour quickly turned into a reality.

The Government began to send in investigation teams and police to search the area for missing residents of the Creek, too their horror, got a firsthand glimpse at these creatures, filming and photographing them, while the government managed to take control over the footage and edit most of it, they couldn't stop the survivors from spreading their stories, leading to worldwide Trauma.

By 1987 the Australian Government ask for assistance from its ally America, they agreed to help on condition that, they could take samples, and study these creatures, if they got their hands on one, during 1987, the two Governments set up "the Zone of Infestation 1" sealed off all of McCahons Creek and caused nearly four thousand residents to evacuate the area, constant watch was put over the area, with hundreds of units deployed, the zone many considered to be one of the most expensive programs ever funded by the United States, for the next five years the Governments attempted to reason, capture, and destroy the creatures lurking around inside the Zone of Infestation1.


By the end of the Cold war, the US Government was able to divert most of its troops and funds away from Russia, and could fund Biochemical weapons to be dropped onto the Zone of Infestation; this caused much controversy throughout the world, during 1991 activity around the Zone dropped dramatically, which produced much notion of what might be happening inside the Zone,  for the next two years  the world began to debate what to do with the Zone, many wanted it destroyed due to the cost nearly crippling the United States Economy.

But on January 28th 1994, a ship was reported to have landed, not crashing inside the Zone, then taking off five hours later, for those five hours explosions and fires broke out all around the mountain inside the Zone, all forces guarding the Zone were forbidden to enter during this time until orders came in.

Four days later the Government finally agreed due to great pressure, massive cost, and loss of life protecting the Zone, that it be destroyed, by US armed Forces, February 6th more than twelve thousand US soldiers marched into the Zone, with orders to kill all Alien life forms, but too their shock found not a single trace of Alien presence or proof they were even there, as if they were completely wiped out overnight, vanished, disappeared.
For nearly 2 years until 1996, the entire Zone was searched and checked, not a single trace of these creature was found, then they began to search the whole state for any Infestations, not a single one, but after one year of trying to search the entire state of Victoria, the Government finally decided that the Creatures had been destroyed, and the investigation was closed, despite the fact that the state wasn't searched entirely.
