The Hive Rogue

Some more art now finally finished some of my hard work for uni and now I have a nice long break so why not upload some half finished drawings I have been hanging onto for a long dam time?  

Flinch Spacey, or the Hive Rogue, or Hive gaurdian, which is sort of becoming his unofficial title in mine and story The Allure Of Edrididon has a "man with no name ring to it"  

When it comes to Flinch Spacey, not even his ability to talk, handle weapons and basic technology, out smart and outwit his foes will take away his primal instinct that makes him still very much a Xenomorph. survive. He himself will talk of adventure and seeking revenge on the Predators who the queen his was born to protect. But his Xeno instinct puts all this below his one goal of keeping his tail alive for one more day. 

The location is meant to be the same planet from my picture "building better worlds", the obvious similarties include the return of the large gas giant planet and Weyland Yutani corp structures. I quite like the idea of Flinch finding a long term shelter on a desolate desert planet. seems like his kinda place to wage war unlike with the first image, he is on the ground of this blistering hot sandy and rocky world, so I chose to add much more dust to give the impression of high wind speeds on the planet. just looking at the background it brings me thoughts of some of the hottest days I have exprienced in Australia I quite like it though

In my spare time I will try to piece out how I want this world to look as I quite like it and give it a proper back story

Flinch is also using a weapon I new weapon I have not drawn him with yet A Russian PKM light machine gun possibly one of the greatests general purpose machine guns ever made this is probarbly the only weapon he carries that gives him an advanatge against Predators and US Colonial Marines it fires strong powerful cartridges that can tare walls to peices or punch holes into armou easily its also incredibly reliable in dusty and sandy conditions (an obvious requierment on this planet) only being bested by AK assault rifles It has a reputation of being incredibly deadly and easy to obtain around the world. sadly for this reason its now being called a pile of junk for political reasosns as the weapon has been used effectivly by ISIL fighters against NATO. But any gun expert who is not politically aligned will tell you that the PKM is a beast of a gun, powerful, rugged, and can be used in all kinds of climates.  

but enough about weapons I enjoyed colouring this old peice and look forward to submitting more art soon peace
