This ID, simple, yet effective. The Hot/Cold color mixture makes the ID "Pop" out like a neon sign. Flinch over at the side gives you a quick look at Chris's OC for those who are new and is basically Chris's art in a nutshell. As for purpose, it serves a informative purpose by providing some of Chris's most unique features and interests.Which something I personnaly, have yet to see in a deviant's ID. And is also why I rate this a 5 for originality. And placement of the text makes it more centered on his profile(In other words it's more into the middle of the webpage.), increaseing the chances of somebody to look at it in the event his ID is not what their looking for. And for overall design, intuitive. Theres no borders or fancy work or random things about. The ID is simple, and to the point, nothing more.
As for vision, there's really not much to see other than Flinch but the ID otherwise is exceptionally fine in terms of it's purpose. The impact it serves to the reader is lovely. As I've said before it provide's simple details about him that you will likely need whenever you talk to him. Also the ID allows deviant's new to Chris's profile to see one of the most significant things about him: His true love. Which in my mind will make Chris look more like the mature and lively individual he is.
